A
Baby Book My Baby Loves Is:
Hairy McLary From Donaldson's Dairy
By: Lynley Dodd
This is the best book for baby. It's Daisy's all time enduring
favourite. This is one of those books that makes her face absolutely
shine, particularly with the arrival of Scarface Claw, the toughest tom
in town. Lynley Dodd's characters are always full of life.
Peepo
By: Janet and Allen Ahlberg
Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written. Peep through the pages
as you follow the day of the Peepo baby. Peepo!
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
By: Eric Carle
Amazing collage style pictures and great for learning to count. Little
'caterpillar' holes in the pages keep little fingers interested.
The Sneetches and other stories
By: Dr. Seuss
characters. Dr Seuss tackles issues such as equality, compromise, fear,
self esteem and the environment (to name a few) in a fun way.
I Like It When....
By: Mary Murphy
Simple text and bold colours give a great introduction to books. Good
for older kids to play along too, but also a great book for baby.
Honeybee's Busy Day
By: Richard Fowler
Daisy loves pushing Honeybee through the slot on each page as she makes
the journey back to her hive. I don't think we've ever managed to read
this book just once.
