Are you looking for a special Care Bear baby book?  Below you will find a few of the many books in the Care Bear series.  Children love to read about these cuddly little bears.  The Care Bears teach them the importance of caring for others and sharing their feelings.  They represent positive values such as sharing and caring.

The Care Bears were created by American Greetings in 1981 for use on their greeting cards.  Two years later they turned the loveable creatures into cuddly toys.  Each toy comes in a different colour and has a specialized insignia on its belly that represents its duty and personality which is known as their "tummy symbol".

There are 10 original Care Bears such as Bedtime Bear who helps everyone get a good night's sleep and Wish Bear who will help your wishes come true.

The rest as they say is history as the Care Bears have gone on to feature in their own hit TV series, movies and DVD's as well as a Care Bear Baby Book or two!

The Care Bears had their 25th birthday re-launch in 2007 which saw the introduction of a new line of dolls, a new movie and a new TV series.  The Care Bears will be around for a long time to come I'm sure as they now have become a bit of a cult phenomena.

American Greetings have a Care Bears Website dedicated to their most loved bears where you can meet the Care bears, play games, watch videos and find free downloadable activities to do all about the Care Bears.
