As a teacher I am always amazed at the names some of the children I teach have. We all know people (or at least have heard of people) who have been given unique baby girl names. The most bizarre one I have heard lately was in my own country New Zealand where a 9 year old girl was made a ward of the state so she could change the name she hated.....her name was 'Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii'!!!

  New parents didn't stray far from past habits in 2007 when naming their babies. Only one name -- Elizabeth -- is new to the top-10 list, returning after a two-year absence. Samantha, which previously ranked 10th, dropped to No. 12, according to the latest list released Saturday by the Social Security Administration.
